Dusting is a form of huffing or inhalant abuse, specifically the use of canned, aerosolized computer keyboard cleaner containing compressed gas [1].

When a user inhales the compressed gas causing momentary paralysis and a momentary high, damage can be done to organs such as the kidneys, liver, heart, and brain. It may cause irregular heart beat and cardiac arrest. The compressed air fills the lungs and prevents oxygen from entering the lungs which may stop the user's heartbeat and may even result in death.[citation needed]
